BIG BROTHER !!!!

As you can tell by Derek's shirt, he's going to be a big brother! My due day is January 17th. When I calculated my due date on "WebMD" it said I was due on the 15th but my doctor confirmed that its the 17th. So we will keep you posted on any upcoming news. Please pray that I don't get as sick as I did when I was pregnant with Derek.

Phillies Phan

In the last week, Derek has been to two baseball games. The first game he received a Cole Hamels MVP baseball and the second game he received a world champions Phillies ring key chain. He went with his Daddy and Poppy D. He behaved very well and the ladies flirted with him.

Easter!!!

On Easter, Derek woke up and found his Easter basket and as you can tell by the pictures he was very excited. After he examined his basket, he went into the living room to find the eggs we hid for him.

Here's Derek in his Easter outfit with his wagon full of toys.

Dying Eggs

Derek enjoyed dying his Easter eggs, but he found it a lot easier to just use his hands instead of spoons to get the eggs out of the dye.

Tubby Time

As you can tell by the picutre, Derek is a very impatient person while filling up the tub.

Finally Updating!!!

We are finally updating our blog. So let us fill you in the last 2 months. February was just a normal month, we celebrated Valentines day and our niece Gloria's Christening. We did get Valentine pictures of Derek, but of course we had to throw a ball in there somehow.

Also at the christening, Derek decided to go up on the altar and start dancing for everyone, while the baby was getting baptised and the pastor talking. I WISH we had pictures of it!

So far, March has been a rough month for our little man. In the last two weeks, he was in the emergency room for dehydration, due to vomitting and diahrea. At his follow up appointment from the ER, the doctor diagnosed him with ear infections and if that wasn't enough, the next morning he woke up with pink eye. It's been fun. The last couple of days "knock on wood" have been good. On a good note, we did have a blast a Aunt D's suprise birthday party. Derek loved being there with all the kids and seeing cousin Cambelle. I do have to say that I love my SIL and BIL's new home!

18 Months going on 18 Years old!!!

Our little man turned 18 months today. Still our baby, but acting like a teenager. He loves to try and play XBOX with his dad, especially when gets to wear the headset while online. He's also discovered the telephone and that people will actually talk on the other end. So now he goes and hide and pretends to have conversations with people on the phone (when no one is actually there). I think he hides so we don't think he's on the phone, which is something he might do when he gets his first girlfriend.

These past 18 months have gone to fast, it seems like everyday, he grows bigger and smarter. He is the most perfect son you could ever ask for and brings happiness to everyone. He has his 18 month check up on the 20th and we will keep you posted on that. Hopefully he reached the big 20 pounds, by me guess is that he is still 19.

New Year's Day

New Years Day was low key. We spent the day with just the three of us relaxing at home and not doing much. We watched some of the Mummers Parade, but is it me or do they all look the same. Derek thinks the same thing, they all dance the same exact way. I don't get it. After relaxing all day we went to my grandmoms because every year she makes pork with sauerkraut. It was delicious!

Christmas Day

For starters, we are the worst bloggers in the world, but here is our latest blog starting with Christmas. We had Christmas Eve dinner with Grams, Poppy and Uncle Darryl and after exchanging gifts with them, we went to church at 7 with the Dawson Family.

Christmas Day was quiet. Derek had work, but was able to stop home for a little bit and watch Lil Derek open up his gifts. Later in the day we went to Great Grandmom and Great Pop Pop Dawson's to visit and then headed to Uncle Craig and Aunt Sandy's to join the Rambo's for dinner.

Derek loved all of his gifts and loved his new drum set, chair, inch worm, keyboard and microphones. He plays with all of his gifts and most of the time, doesn't know which one to play with.

Derek enjoyed his new chair from Grams and Poppy

His new inch worm from Nanan and Poppy

He also enjoyed his new vacuum, since he is always trying to use ours.
